NIMU for agents

NIMU runs a public, read only MCP server. Any assistant (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or your own agent) can search local businesses, see their hours, their Google reviews, their coupons and their job openings, and help the person request an appointment or a quote.

Transport: MCP Streamable HTTP (JSON-RPC 2.0 over POST, one request per message). No account or key needed.

Tools

Tool	Arguments	What it does
`buscar_negocios`	categoria, texto, lat + lng \| ciudad + pais, radio_km, limite, pagina, idioma	Searches the directory by category, city or coordinates. Never mixes countries.
`negocio`	negocio_id, idioma	The public card: name, category, description, public phone and links, address only if the business shows it.
`horarios`	negocio_id, idioma	Weekly hours in the business time zone and whether it is open now.
`resenas`	negocio_id	Google reviews connected by the business, with their attribution.
`cupones`	negocio_id \| lat + lng \| ciudad + pais, limite	Live coupons. Redeemed in the app; the code is never shared.
`vacantes`	negocio_id \| lat + lng, ciudad, texto, limite	Live job openings; the person applies in NIMU from the link.
`categorias`	idioma	Every directory category with its name.
`pedir_cita`	negocio_id	Does not book: returns the link where the person requests and confirms with their account.
`pedir_cotizacion`	negocio_id, borrador	Does not send: opens the card's quote form with your draft; the person reviews and sends.

Actions with consent

No assistant books, quotes or sends anything on anyone's behalf. pedir_cita and pedir_cotizacion return a nimuapp.app link: the person opens it, reviews and confirms it themselves (the appointment, with their NIMU account in the app; the quote, with their name and phone on the card's form).

Public data only

Only what the public card already shows, read with NIMU's public key.
Only active, published and approved businesses; test accounts never show up.
Businesses that come to you publish no address: you get their service area, never a point.
If the business asked for contact only during business hours, its phone is not given outside them.
A coupon's redeem code is never shared: it is redeemed in the app.

The country fence

The directory never mixes countries. With coordinates the server decides the country from the point; with a city you must give the country (US, MX). A nationwide business shows across its own country and never in another.

Quotas and logging

Up to 120 calls per hour per IP and 2000 per hour per client (the name the assistant declares when connecting). Beyond that the server answers 429 with Retry-After. Every call is logged (tool, IP, client, time and result) and the log is kept for 90 days.

Google reviews

When you show reviews, say they come from Google and name their authors; the response carries the attribution and the link to the Google listing.

Also on every card

Every public card (nimuapp.app/c/…) carries schema.org LocalBusiness structured data: name, hours, phone, links, offers and, when there are any, the Google rating.
