Frequently Asked Questions

How do I switch between Fun Mode and Business Mode?
NIMU has two modes. Fun Mode is the audio social network where you listen and share audio. Business Mode is the professional services marketplace. Swipe left/right on the main screen or tap the mode icon in the navigation bar to switch.
How do payments work in Business Mode?
Clients post service requests ("needs"). Professionals ("VIPs") apply with offers. When both parties sign a digital agreement, the client's payment is held securely via Stripe. After the service is completed and the client scans the VIP's QR code, the payment is released. NIMU deducts a 2% fee from each party (4% total).
How do I manage my subscription?
All subscriptions (GIFs, Ads, Sales, Teleport, Business PRO, Content Creator PRO) are managed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store. To cancel: go to your phone's Settings → Subscriptions → NIMU → Cancel. Refunds are handled by Apple/Google, not by NIMU.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Profile → Delete Account. Your data will be soft-deleted (deactivated). Pending Business Mode transactions will be processed according to their current state. Active subscriptions must be cancelled separately in your phone's Settings.
How do I report inappropriate content?
While listening to any audio, tap the three-dot menu (⋯) and select Report. Describe the reason and submit. Our moderation team reviews all reports within 24 hours. Repeated violations result in account restrictions.
Why was my content rejected?
Ads, GIFs, and Sales require approval before going live. Content may be rejected for: inappropriate material, copyright violations, misleading information, offensive content, low quality, or guideline violations. You'll receive a push notification with the rejection reason.
Can I use NIMU without creating an account?
Yes. NIMU offers a Guest Mode that allows you to listen to audio content. However, you cannot publish, interact (likes, follows, saves), access Business Mode, or use premium features without an account.
